During the Centennial Celebration, Sunday School and Discipleship Ministries International and Nazarene Youth International are providing four Bible-based, age-appropriate, and doctrinally sound sessions for all ages, highlighting the core values of the Church of the Nazarene. Nazarenes serving in Peace Corps evacuate country of Georgia

Two members of the Mid-City Church of the Nazarene in San Diego, California, have been serving in Tiblisi, Georgia, for just over a year with the Peace Corps. Recently they were forced to evacuate due to regional bombing.

Next CLT conference call this Friday

In July, Continuing Lay Training sponsored a conference call addressing the purpose of Sunday School. The call was well attended and there has been a multitude of requests for similar calls. In response, the next call will be Friday, August 22.

Orlando area Nazarenes begin advance work for next summer’s One Heart-Many Hands project

Recently a team of Central Florida Nazarenes gathered with business leaders and public officials in Orlando, Florida, to network and begin planning for the One Heart-Many Hands Work and Witness project scheduled for June 21-26, 2009 in accordance with General Assembly.
